The image
at left shows the front desk edge, which is a
natural anodized aluminum section. The anodized
surface is extremely hard wearing and scratch
resistant and gives the workstation a classy and
technical look.
This
image shows a close up view of the Outrigger
Shelf. It is edged with a 50 x 2mm (2" x
14g) steel section. It is powder coated as are
all other steel components of the workstation in
a fine textured black satin finish. It provides a
very durable finish. The main practical advantage
of a textured finish is that it does not show
fingermarks as readily as other finishes.
This
image shows a close up view of the desk surface.
All horizontal surfaces are made of black finely
textured melamine coated chipboard. It provides a
good looking, hard wearing and long lasting
surface which with normal careful use will still
look great in a decade from now.
